Jack attended University of Wisconsin,  Roosevelt University, Elmhurst University and William Rainey Harper College. His educational background includes Architectural Technology, Accounting, Engineering, Computer Science, Business Management, Materials Management, and Human Resource Management.

He is a fifteen year resident of Northern Nevada with family roots in the Midwest and several years as a resident of California. Jack is the father of two and grandfather to six.

His interests and hobbies include hiking, bicycling, scuba diving, motorcycle touring, auto racing, travel, architecture and technology.
